A Family of Nurserymen since 1915

The Johnson family has been growing plants in Putnam County Tennessee for over 95 years.  The operation of the nursery and garden center is now run by the fifth generation Charlie and David Johnson.

W.L. Johnson would travel by horse and buggy to East Tennessee and Southern Kentucky in the early 1900's to take orders for nursery plants to be delivered later at planting time.
